I just love candles & lanterns in the house & garden to provide that soft lighting which is so relaxing.
We have crooks all over the garden for our array of lanters & they just light up the borders & summerhouse & make the garden look inviting.
My favourite house ones are a pair of vintage brass lanterns that I found on the Bridport market and a stunning brass wall lantern with an eagle on the top that I found in the Hungerford antiques market.
So my thoughts are turning to garden lighting & lanterns - what are your preferences?

my thoughts and sentiments exactly!! After this long (well it seems that way...) winter, I think we all 'need' light...love the lanterns. Very inviting and atmospheric. Look forward to more inspiration from the Carlton, very soon...xxx
