Keep calm & eat cake

The Diamond Jubilee weekend means four days off so it has been catch up time with family down south. The town was decked out in bunting & flags ...

The Thames River pageant was obviously the one to watch on Sunday so we decided on a traditional tea with Ms M's special china tea set ... done in style!

I found these gorgeous cake decorations to go on a Victoria Sponge my niece made. How stunning are they?

Does it qualify as 'tea with the Queen?'

We also had a 'Keep Calm' cake & some other little nibbles, all together a very enjoyable way to celebrate the event together.

Did you have any celebrations over the Jubilee weekend? What were your activities?

Tell all ....
