Spring has sprung, Meteorologically at least as the weather folk take the 1st day of March to be the start of Spring.
Astronomically, we have to wait until the 20th March for the official start to Spring as they like the seasons to be more precise.
Each year there is this disagreement, & while I observe the trends of solstices, equinoxes & the likes, I always find myself impatient to start Spring so I admit to favouring the 1st March as Spring …
My indoor hyacinths represent Spring with their heady fragrance & bright pink flowers & green foliage.
