The Berlin Wall

My love of travel & history helps me to make sense of the momentous events that shape our politics, lives & world dynamics.

During the summer, I spent several weeks touring Eastern Europe. Many of my ancestors came from that region & I feel a connection to that part of Europe.


I visited Berlin last year on my trip around Scandinavia  & Eastern European capitals & the opportunity to revisit Berlin was embraced - it is an amazing city with the most beautiful architecture, old & new meeting in this cauldron of history

We forget the human stories, like that of  Angela Merkel

It is a fascinating city with such a complex history that I hope to revisit again.
